Culture Kafé is a place for youth to meet in a carefree environment. It is also a place to experience what church is really about, meeting youth from churches in Chard..........
• Culture Kafe
We are a group of young people who are having fun while learning about life. We are split into two groups of Junior SMYG and Senior SMYG and our leaders develop our understanding of life events, life values and give us a good start on the path we tread. It helps us to relax from the everyday rush of life by having fun.
We are connected to St Mary’s Church in Chard, Somerset and have various events / activities throughout the year.
Senior SMYG is a place to socialise and relax with a group of non Christian and Christian friends. Everyone aged 14 to 20 is welcome to join us. Our evening can range from talks by interesting people, watching a DVD (that is chosen by the group), visits to Culture Kafe and Games nights where we have Table Tennis, Air Hockey etc.
Junior SMYG has a similar programme to Senior SMYG but with more emphasis on running off physical energy. It is for 9 to 13 year olds and has many varied activities......
